This is an illustration of the next upcoming chapter in my 'Ascension' fanfic. Jack meets the Narsims, a clan of gorrila-like creatures that dwell in the Hinterlands. Due to overhunting for their prized pelt (which witches in Halloween Town found useful in many of their potions), their numbers had dwindled to a mere handful. As a result, the Narsims held resentment towards anyone from Halloween Town and Jack Skellington was treated no differently.
At first they were suspicious of Jack until he saved them from a near disaster. Afterwards they changed their minds and saw him as a dear friend, and invited him to come back anytime. |
